Their primary role is to server a means of professional development and continuous education for various professions within the health care sector. The workshops will aim to reinforce and develop on the primary knowledge that student would have learnt in their intial training. The workshops will be focused on practical training and scenario based learning.

This workshop has been specifically designed for a wide range of healthcare staff. Emergency Medical Technicians, Paramedics and Nurses etc can all benefit from this workshop. It is designed to provide a practical learning experience for all.

Prerequisites
Students wishing to complete this workshop should be involved in taking ECG's and have undergone. They should have also completed ECG learning as part of their primary learning.  

What's Involved
This 1 day workshop will cover all aspects of ECG recording and rhythm interpretation. It will also discuss if a patient presenting with a rhythm should be considered stable or unstable.

Students who successfully complete this course will receive a Medicore Medical Services certificate. This course currently holds Category 1 accreditation from An Bord Altranais (Irish Nursing Board) for nurses and midwifes. It has been awarded 5 Continuing Education Units. EMT's and Paramedics can use it as part of their learning portfolio towards their own CPD requirements.
