Aim
This aim of this course is to equip staff with the skills and knowledge required to safely administer medication in a variety of healthcare and residential care settings.
Requirements
There are currently no prerequisites for this course. Students must be proficient in English such that they can read prescriptions and medication directions.

This course is designed for those working in the health or social care sector. This can include healthcare workers who administer or assist with the administration of an individuals medicaiton.

Method of Delivery
The course is facilitated by an instructor who will use PowerPoint presentation as well as video examples to guide you through the course. The course is delivered through English.
Duration & Assessment
The course is 6 hours long. Students will be evaluated on the practical skills demonstrated during  the course as well as undertaking a written assessment.
Certification
Upon successful completion of this course students will be issued with a certificate. This cert will be valid for two years.
